Bangalore Café began long before the first meal was served. It began with a man carrying a city in his heart. Mr. Sundarraj Kanakaraj was born and brought up in Bangalore, surrounded by the kind of food that quietly becomes a part of who you are, simple home-cooked meals, familiar aromas, and conversations shared around the table. They were everyday moments, the kind you never think twice about until one day, you begin to miss them deeply.
When he moved to Singapore in the early 90s, what was meant to be a short stay slowly became a new life. He spent years working in restaurants, learning every part of the business. But through all those years, one thing stayed with him, the feeling of home that only comforting, honest food could bring. Because in the end, people may forget presentation or perfection. But they never forget warmth. The feeling that a meal was made with care. The comfort of flavours that remind them where they come from.
That feeling became Bangalore Café.
A place created not just to serve food, but to recreate the warmth of home through soulful pure vegetarian meals made with sincerity, comfort, and care.
Because sometimes home is not a place you can return to every day.
Sometimes, it is a taste.
A memory.
A feeling you've been missing.
Bangalore Café exists to bring that feeling back.
Pure Vegetarian. A taste of what you miss.
